Install Vanity Top Sink

Wipe the top of vanity cabinet with damp cloth to remove dirt and apply a bead of silicone around top edges of the vanity cabinet.
Install vanity top sink. Installing a new vanity is easiest with a unit that includes a countertop and integrated sink. Buy your new vanity top according to these measurements. First apply a bead of silicone caulk to the topside of the vanity along the front and sides. Assemble the bathroom faucet and drain on the sink before you attach it to the vanity.
Install faucet and drain assembly. Measure the vanity base with a tape measure and write down the measurements. Now you re ready to set the top onto the vanity. Push the flange downward engaging it with the putty and securing it to the vanity top.
Once the cabinet is secured the countertop sink unit is dropped in usually with the faucet pre installed. Remove the sink top from the vanity base. Insert the faucet into the designated holes on the vanity top. First apply silicon to the underside of the sink bowl.
Then while holding the faucet from underneath screw on fastening nuts. Be sure to attach your supply tubes to the faucet before you set the top onto the vanity because it s really hard to fit your hand let alone a wrench underneath to install the faucet later. Grip your counter on two opposite sides and lift it up. Some tops are held on with screws and some are glued to the base.
The cabinet has an open top and back so it s easy to set in place and fasten from above. Try using the chisel on the inside if you re going to reuse your sink or vanity. This step involves sealing the bowl and installing the vanity top to the cabinet. Some vanity tops have the sink bowl built in while others have an opening cut out ready to accept the sink bowl of your choice.
Run a bead of plumber s putty along the threaded flange on the underside of the bowl flange. If yours is glued use a hammer and chisel to separate it from the base. Place the plastic gasket on the faucet. Place your counter on top of the vanity to ensure that it s level.
Hold it over the vanity cabinets.
